Early Life
Olubowale Victor Akintimehin was born in the Northwestern quadrant of Washington D.C, on 21st September 1984. His parents, Ayo Akintimehin (father) and Doris Akintimehin (mother) are both belong to the Yoruba ethnicity. This Akintimehin family moved to Montgomery County when Wale was only ten. However, Wale graduated from Quince Orchard High School in 2002. Later, he attended Bowie State University. But, due to academic reasons, Wale dropped out.
Career
Wale started his rapping career in 2005, releasing some singles and mixtapes. In the following year, his maiden recorded track, Rhyme of the Century, was released on the local radio.
