Early Life
On 3 May 1934, Frankie Valli was born in Newark, New-Jersey, the U.S. He belongs to Italian descent. He is the eldest of his parents’ three siblings. His father is a designer and barber where his mother is a bar company employee. At the age of seven, Frankie was highly inspired in music by the American singer Frank Sinatra.
Talk about schooling, he attended the Paramount Theatre located in Manhattan, New York City. His favorite singer was Jean Valli. Thus, he took his stage name, Frankie Valli.
Career
Valli’s singing career started in the 1950s. In 1953, he sang his first single My Mother’s Eyes. This song gained many accolades and later the group auditioned in the American record label, RCA Victor.
