Early life and Career:
Wright was born at a hospital in Cambridge, however, he grew up in Burlington, Massachusetts with his parents and siblings. He is the son of Alexander K. Wright, who is Scottish, and Lucille “Dolly”, who is Italian-American. And he has three siblings.
Wright appeared at Middlesex Community College in Bedford, Massachusetts, from where completed an associate degree. And he completed his graduation from Emerson College in the year 1978. Then he started his stand-up comedy career with the Comedy Connection in Boston.
In 1985, Wright released his comedy album “I Have a Pony” on Warner Bros, for which he got nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album. With this remarkable achievement, he got the opportunity to be an HBO special.
One of the great things is that Wright won an “Academy Award” along with Dean Parisot who was his fellow producer in the year 1989. Moreover, Wright worked for TBS as a voice artist on the “Disaster Area cartoon block” in 1995. Wright continued to perform stand-up comedy along with other works.
